The South Shore Anchors looked great against the Hartford Wanderers despite light numbers due to weddings, Countryfest, and various other reasons. Hartford came out playing hard and with a size advantage in the scrums. They started with an early lead but the commitment to the Anchors system and fitness allowed the Anchors to put some points on the board. Improved rucking, support, and communication were the keys to winning this match. The final score was 41 to 26. South Shore has a bye this week for Labor Day but will be training hard for Worcester the following week.
See you at practice gents! Remember to let me, Ben, or Matt (all three would be nice since we tend to forget) if you are unable to make it to practice. Good work this past weekend but we can always get better and we need numbers at practice in order to do that.
