An annual tradition that honors the memory of a teammate who left us all too soon, the Daniel J Green Memorial Golf Tournament is also our club’s most important fundraiser of the year. Each year the club comes together to raise money for a charitable cause. This year’s donation will go to the Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover.
The day’s events will include 18 holes, a catered lunch, raffles and prizes. Club members are encouraged to bring raffle prizes.
Format: Scramble
Event prizes have included a trip to the Super Bowl, amateur sponsorship, champion polos and more.
This year’s tournament is sponsored by Rohal Holdings on behalf of our very own Ryan Howard. More commonly known around the club as Thor, Ryan recently joined the board as Old Boy’s Admin and immediately volunteered his company to sponsor this year’s tournament. We still aren’t sure what they do exactly, but we are very grateful for their support.
Prepay for the on-course contests:
Hole in One: Hole 9
Sink it in one and get it on video and you'll win a cash prize.
Hit the Green: Hole 14
Land your tee shot on the green and you'll be entered into a 50/50 raffle for the prize money raised by these contests.
Putting Contest: Practice Green
3 chances to sink a 15 foot putt and enter into the 50/50 raffle for the prize money raised by these contests.
ABOUT THE COURSE: At 4,111 yards from the back tees, this par 61 track is the longest and most challenging executive golf course in New England. It also might be the most beautiful, as the course winds through the Stearns family’s 100 year-old, actively maintained cranberry bogs. READ MORE
